Count Down

The count down is on.
Twenty-five days left of being Kelowna residents.
So much to do and so little time left.
Still waiting on septic, which means still waiting on power, which means still waiting for water.

We took a trip up to the property for the first time since mid-February and were happy to find no snow and beautiful spring weather. The air was clear and blue. Two baby white tailed deer peeked at us in curiosity through the trees as we unloaded some lumber for the electrical shed that needs to be built. The girls ran and climbed trees, made things out of sticks and rocks, and felt free in nature.

Back in Kelowna, we slowly pack, give away, and recycle all that we own. The RV is clean and ready for living, so this week will be full of filling cupboards and making ready our new home.

The bitter-sweet end is coming near of leaving this house we have called a home since the days Eden began to walk. But, we turn the page and the new chapter awaits to be written.

The count down in on.

Twenty-six days until we begin a new journey of something we have yet to experience. A new day, a new challenge, a new adventure.
