We finally completed our green house in the fall, just before the snow started.
We moved all our house plants in there for the winter to see how they would do before we even thought about planting seeds.
With a trusty little oil heater and an automatic humidity fan, our plants thrived all winter long.
As soon as spring break hit, we were all grateful for a new project while we were stuck at home.
Seeds are spouting and quickly growing. Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, squash, corn, lettuce, spinach, kale, green onions, beans, peas, strawberries, cauliflower, broccolini, sweet potatoes, and herbs.
We have quickly realized that we need another green house!
We eagerly wait for the snow to melt and the days to stay warm so we can fill the garden plot and raised beds that Jason has built.
It's amazing how sprouting seeds and little leaves unfurling can give such joy and new hope to the season.
