August Work

We have a kitchen! Beautiful work done by 1^st Choice Kitchens. I’m so glad we stuck with light colors and the granite gives it a nice splash of dark.

Doors and trim painted and finally installed. The doors even have handles and bathroom locks! Now just caulking and painting pin holes on window trim and baseboards.

Tile cut and ready to go on around the tub and shower and along the floor in the bathrooms and entrance way.

New ideas for the fireplace wall.

Getting ready to finish the exterior. Looks like it’s up to us, so we’re continuing with the metal siding. Not looking forward to being up on a lift again though!

Looking forward to a handmade harvest table for kitchen dining, built by Jason too!

It looks like we’re going to make it before the snow flies! Winter will be a nice break, but we already have big plans for next year. First steps toward self-sustainability!
